The company impossible to deal with!
|
I was asked this week to provide a credit report to a prospective employer, so I logged in to creditreport.com. I was having log in problems, so I called customer service. After getting me logged in, the customer service rep. told me to click on the $1.00 credit report link to get an updated report for $1.00. So, of course, it didn't work! The best I could do was to get an updated report for $14.95, so I did that. Two days later (today) I logged in to make sure I was not being charged for anything but the report I ordered, and of course, there's no way to find out on the web site. Most sites have a "my account" tab where you can check for charges, billings, etc., but not here! So, now I have to call. After verifying everything in my profile, the customer service rep. said there was nothing being charged or billed except for the $14.95 for the report I ordered the other day. I asked for confirmation of this in writing (because I don't trust these people at all!) and was told to stay on the line while he sent me an email which I would have to confirm so that then he could send me the email I was requesting. After 10 minutes, I still didn't have the first email, so he told me it would be coming and to go ahead and confirm when I get it, then I would get the 2nd email. It's been over an hour now, and no email. Why am I not surprised? How many times am I going to have to call before I get the simple email I'm requesting?
This is the worst company in the world as far as I'm concerned! Click one wrong button and you end up being charged for things you didn't want and can't cancel! Then try to get ANY satisfaction from them and...good luck! With all the complaints about this company, why hasn't anyone made them change their horrible policies and procedures?
