The score history is just an estimate
|
After a few months of paying for the service I logged on back on the site to see if any changes have occurred. I looked at the score history and according to what it said my score has stayed the same since I log on last( 6 months ago). So, I decided that I will cancel the service, since I din't need to have it. It is nice to have but not a necessity with annualcreditreport.com which you are provided a free credit report by all bureaus each year.
Well, as try to cancel it, the lady which I barely understood, maybe due to a bad connection or speech pattern, pretty much said do not cancel we will give you a free report from all 3 bureaus. Of course, I changed my mind curious about the other two bureaus.
Then all of the sudden when I logged on, my score dropped 12 points. Odd. So I call to find out what I did in the last 10 days that may have made my score dropped. Well, according to the representative I spoke with. My score dropped 2 months ago(but curious enough my score history didn't reflect this), because I didn't get a credit report in that time, which mind you it was 4.95 to get each time I wanted one. So, that is why I had faith on the credit summary and score history accuracy, which by the way is just an estimate from what the lady said and completely based whether or not you get your credit report again in the mean time.
