SCAM!!! Run while you still can!
|
I am now three months into a dispute with my credit card company over this total scam. My 75 year old mother got an email that she thought I had sent her and entered her name and address, but no credit card number and then changed her mind and deleted the email. In less than 5 minutes, an operator called her and said they needed to 'confirm the order she'd just placed.' She was disappointed, but being an honest person, though she must have actually placed an order (she didn't.) Anyway, I could kill her, but she gave her credit card number to these scam artists, and they've now hit her card for almost $500. I've had to resort to cancelling her card that she's had for 25 years because they won't stop charging. We keep getting this CRAP product in the mail and have not opened any of it as we are trying to return it. Customer service either puts me on hold or disconnects me. They provided false documentation to my credit card company which I plan to take to my congressman. They also wrote a letter chastising my mother using the following language to give you an idea 'our company's mission is to find the delicate balance between the old age "the customer is always right" and the new, more modern idiom "THE CUSTOMER IS AN IMBECILE." ' They go on 'it all ends the same way, with an angry and confused customer on the other end of the line'...'consumers feel they can get away with this bad behavior..because there are no repurcussions for THEIR DECEIT.' Excuse me? You just called my honest to a fault 75 year old mother a) an imbecile; b)badly behaved; and c) Deceitful? Really?
Stay as far away as possible from this company! I am going after them. I would bet cash that the few positive reviews above are false and nothing more than a deceitful (using their words) and pitiful attempt at public relations.
If I could give something less than one star, I'd certainly do it.
