Very Frustrating Experience
I ordered a split unit and upon confirmation was told it would arrive in 7-10 days. The outside piece arrived on time and I was unexpectedly charged only for the outside unit (the representative told me they debit the money when each piece is shipped, not when the order is placed). I called the company and was told the inside piece would arrive 20 days after the order. I said I don't have heat and it was starting to get into the 30's and 40's at night and in the 40s during the day. The representative said they would try to get it delivered earlier by sending an email to someone, maybe the manufacturer. I called back a week later as the other part of the purchase was still in my account. This next representative told me that it would ship on what would be the 20th day after the order, not arrive on the 20th day. Pretty frustrated I told him that we don't have heat. He said he would also contact the company to try to see when they plan to ship the inside piece. He said someone would call back and I asked when I should call back if they didn't and he said by the end of the week which was in 3 days. I didn't hear from them, but trying to be patient, I called a week later. Now I write this infuriated. After 45 mins on hold, I was routed twice to a full voicemail box then back to the beginning of the hold queue!! I am now on the eve of day 19 from when my order was placed. I have to cool / heat an 1800 sf home and I would rather shop thrift stores on foot, knee deep in the snow and sleet for our next split units than support this company again. They tell you what you want to hear then keep you waiting, wondering and on hold. The piece that did arrive seems ok, but we can't use it to test yet. The customer service people were nice, but in a bad position to have to cover for a shitty company.
