This is the worst experience in car repair we have had in the state of Florida. We are amazed that this is the group the Broward County Sheriff’s office uses almost exclusively for accidents. It’s an interesting trap they set for you. A gentleman shows up on scene, making lots of promises regarding repairs, service, experience and costs, asking for a signature without ever detailing what it is for. In the state of mind at that time, we failed to ask specifics…clearly our fault. The repair took 2 months…..the interior of the car had been damaged by someone at the shop(proof via insurance photo at time of accident) and filthy when we picked the vehicle up. Yet, the shop foreman tells us the shop is not responsible because repairs were only to the body. Although we were promised a hefty discount at the accident scene, no one at the repair shop was aware of the promise, and made us feel like they were doing us a favor by honoring ½ of the committed discount at the time of pickup. We are still finding missing interior panels, bolts, screws, decorative caps, rattling noises and loose assembly from the repair work. Despite paying extra to have airbag and check engine alarms reset after the accident, none of the repairs we paid for out of pocket were done. We don’t dare take our car back there for anything, including having them honor any sort of warranty that comes with the repairs. Who knows, if any warranty comes with the repairs or even exists there. The final straw was when our insurance carrier asked why we endorsed checks they sent to the repair shop if we were so unhappy. We endorsed nothing….and upon retrieving copies of the checks from the insurance company; we found our signature forged on 3 different checks, so that the shop could process them through their bank. Buyers beware…..these people are terrible. There is no turn key service that you would normally expect…..there is no quality control….and when they are paid, they are done.
