Beware of the advertising of 2 rooms + Hallway for 49.99. When the service arrived at my home, they told me my living room was actually a living/dining room combo so they needed to charge me more. Now, he could have came up with a million reasons that I would have supported paying them extra because I thought that 49.99 was almost too cheap. But telling me that my living room was "originally designed to be a living room/dining room" so he had to charge me for three rooms instead of two, I just couldn't swallow that. When I asked him "So, how long will it take you to do three rooms?" His reply was "We are just doing two rooms, right?" So even he didn't understand his scam.
When I asked him to explain his methodology, he instantly said "I will just leave an estimate, I don't want to argue". So when presented with a simple question as I was trying to understand his thought process, he instantly disengaged and wanted to leave.
There are many carpet cleaning businesses and honest people just trying to make a living. I would just suggest to this business that they create a plausible reason to increase fees. I would have paid them more regardless, even if it was tips. But I couldn't get past the absurdity of "adding an extra room" to the charge.
They did arrive on-time and called ahead before they arrived.
