Talked to a Jim Phan who promised to lower my mortgage through modification. Paid them $3450.00 on Oct 5,2009 with the necessary paper work. Was waiting for so long for modification on my loan. They told me it takes time so I called to cancel on Oct 20, 2009, didn't hear anything about refunding my money so I called on Nov 9, 2009 and was told I needed to fax a letter of cancellation before refund would occur and it would take up to 45 days. Well I didn't hear anything from them so I started calling 2 weeks ago but only received an answering service. Did not return my calls since. I think I got *&!#@!* ripped off! Also found out they have been former companies by DBA; "US HOMEOWNERS RELIEF", "GREENLEAF MODIFY" and last but not least "WAYPOINT LAW GROUP".
ALSO FOUND OUT THEY DID A MAIL OUT TO HAWAII AROUND JULY OR AUGUST OF THIS YEAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SO BEWARE PEOPLE IN HAWAII! THEY WILL CHANGE THEY NAME AGAIN AND START RIPPING OFF NEW HOME OWNERS! THEY NEED TO BE STOPPED!
