Review 11/30/2009
|
I purchased a new ViewSonic 22” flat screen monitor October 7, 2007. It broke down in September 2009, while still under warranty. When contacting customer service at ViewSonic, I found the CSR curt, uncooperative, with an I-could-care-less attitude. The CSR told me, that if I wished to have my monitor repaired, I would have to pay shipping cost. The monitor was shipped backed to them, as instructed; with a promised 10 to 14 day turn-around-time. As of today November 30, 2009 I do not have my monitor back. Today I spoke with a rep who stated they exceeded the time-limit to repair my monitor and would replace the unit with a used reconditioned monitor, but wouldn’t give me a ship date. I don’t want a reconditioned monitor that will break down in a few months. I am done with ViewSonic. I bought a monitor back in 2002, which never failed me. It was IBM 14” (small screen) which I never had a problem with, but got rid of it for this ViewSonic Flat screen. What a joke! There is something seriously wrong with this company, who obviously do not value customers and think they don’t have to provide good operating products, nor provide good customer service, to the point of total disregard for the customer or their obligation to stand behind their products. In reviewing similar complaints found here, this company doesn’t deserve further business. We should stop buying from manufactures that disregard us and don’t operate in good faith. I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau.
