Trusted this company to be honest in providing quality and courteous service. I brought in my truck for a smog inspection/test, and was given an invoice with a quote for the smog test. After being told my 2003 truck failed smog inspection, I was told I owed for the test performed and that the failure was not due to emissions, but because of a leaking gas cap- a printout showing the emmisions portions of the smog test showed PASSING grades on two separate rpm settings. I asked why I had to pay if I was not to receive a smog certificate because of the gas cap, I was told I could come back and re-test after I purchased a new gas cap, and I would be given a $20.00 discount on the second re-test. I then asked about "no pass/no pay" policy typical of other smog inspection businesses, when the owner became irrate and abruptly answered back; "maybe back in the 70's", to where I continued to question the validity of his statements. The owner became agitated and left us to pay what he claimed we signed for on the initial invoice he prepared before the smog test- without as much as a notice of payment upon demand regardless of the smog test outcome. I had to in turn rely on his assistant to apologize for the business owner's behavior and unprofessional treatment of his patron.
I payed what the owner demanded and promised never to return.
