Review 9/7/2011
|
My wife and I attended a meeting with Timeshare Relief on November 1, 2009. We signed a contract and paid $3,495.00 to get our timeshare transferred out of our names. The persons in charge seemed to be honest, however it is now September 7, 2011, and we still have not gotten the timeshare transferred. They said they were working on it. How much longer will it take? We were told the problem was with the Westgate Resorts where our timeshare is located. We were promised results in 60 – 120 days. It will be two years this November. If Westgate continues to take this long to process the transfer, we would suggest that Timeshare Relief tell customers that they can no longer guarantee a transfer from Westgate. Timeshare Relief has paid our 2010 maintenance fees, but the 2011 fees with late due interests and penalties have not been paid at present. Although this situation, we are still hanging in there due to the fact
that Timeshare Relief has stated in our agreement that they are responsible for all fees, interests and penalties associated with the account while the transfer is in progress.
