I've also found my personal information collected and displayed at this site, and attempted to follow their procedure to remove information since they "care about data privacy." In reality, they actively prevent you from removing all of your information from the site by limiting the number of times you can use a single email, and even if you have multiple emails the number of times you can do so from your computer.
I am also concerned that the email address they collect, though they claim it is to prevent abuse (from who? the only ones being abused are the people whose information is being published and easily searchable by this company), may be sold to third parties and spammers.

Dear Craig, Spokeo understands your privacy concerns, and as such, provides a convenient way to remove your listings from public searches. In order to prevent spammers, bots and others from removing hundreds of listings at a time, all users are allowed to remove a limited number of listings each day per IP address. If you have multiple listings that you would like to be removed, you can go ahead and email each of the URL's to Nancy@Spokeo.com. Nancy and her privacy team will remove your listings as soon as possible. Just allow up to 24-hours for the change to be reflected on our site. I can also assure you that email addresses used to remove listings, are not saved and/or sold to third parties.
