I brought my little tea cup chihuahua in for her shots and 3 days later she became very ill. She was throwing up and had diarhea. We took her to you for exam and the doctor came in and said it does not sound like parvo it soundsd like she ate something bad. We told him that we gave her a new kind of treat and he said that is probably what it is. So he sent one of the girls to tell me that it would cost $170.00 for the medicine for her stomache and I told them I did not have the money but I could pay part now and the rest next week. The girl walked out and came back in a few minutes later and said oh I am sorry i told you the wrong thing she has parvo she said. I was what so what do i do? and she said that it would cost one to two thousand dollars at a vet hospital... I said how could it be that one minute she ate something bad and the next she has parvo after I told you I could not pay the $170. in full. I told them if they wanted to keep her because with parvo I knew that she would proabably die and I did not know what to do I would rather you keep her and save her then let her die but you refused to keep her and forced me to sign to pay 106.00 for visit and parvo test. I did not have the money so I walked out and took my puppy and me and my husband cried at home not knowing what to do so we bought her some pedialyte and watched her carefully and within one week she was back to normal. She never had parvo she is now almost 3 1/2 months old and is a happy little puppy getting healthier and as active as can be. I feel that the vet hospital did not care about my puppy and all i wanted them to do is to not charge me the 106.00 and I would let everything go but if they do not alot of people heard what happened and are not happy with they vet hospital and they will also complain to the bbb if something isnot done immediately for our pain and suffering that we have endured thinking that our puppy "tinkerbell" would die.
