Botched Euthanasia

We brought our dog in for euthanasia and had a horrible experience. The vet repeatedly missed Buddy's vein and hurt him trying. He tried the other leg unsuccessfully. By this point, Buddy was anxious and scared. We asked for an injection to calm him as other vets do,the vet tech got defensive and said they could only put him under or do nothing. They finally took him in the back to insert a catheter and the vet tech had to insert it because the vet couldn't do it. Buddy died scared and was hurt by the vet, and the staff was very unsympathetic and rude. I'll never go back, and I never want another animal or owner to go through what we did.
