Needed to replace my 13 year old carpet and went with the Stainmaster Fashion Forward Exhiliration from Lowes. Thought it was a bit pricey but wanted a real good carpet. Had it installed in January 2011 and extremely displeased. Spills/stains do not come out at all, even with a steam cleaner, looks like a discoloring coming through in one area, which if you can't identify the stain Royalty won't warranty and since it's not a stain, it's discoloring coming up through, we are out of luck. I'm paranoid at any little thing going near this carpet cos I know it won't come out. This carpet is a nightmare - my 13 year old carpet cleaned up much better than this, I never had a problem with it in the 13 years - so sorry I bought it!! Stay AWAY from Stainmaster.
