Last year sometime around July 2010, I called Rose Dental Group located at 2731 S. Rose Ave, Oxnard ,CA for dental appointment. This was my first visit. The dental staffs were nice at my first visit. The dentist did his job on my first visit, x-rays,whole mouth exams and recommendations etc. The dentist told me I needed this and that especially partial dentures so I told them I want to see the figures how much that cost would be. I told them my priority visit was teeth cleaning.
The dental staff who did the estimate told me it would cost me $1500. I told them I had a PPO insurance and I thought it would cover some of the costs. So they ask me if i would like to fill up a credit application from their office to cover the rest of the estimate. The dental staff immediately asked me to fill up and sign a credit application.
At first the billing staff who perform the estimate told me my share was $800.00 and was thinking this amount was from my dental insurance.
Without my knowledge,Rose Dental Clinic, charge $1500 to this credit company" Smile Generation. "I immediately complained to Rose Dental Clinic why they charge me $1500 from this company. I did not get a proper response from the dental staff employee. She just gave me a turn around response which is not acceptable to me. I continued with their service due to the fact that I was already billed for the partial dentures. The dentist had my impression 2 weeks after. The impression was done upper and I complained what about the bottom and the dentist told me sorry I dont know the bottom impression was included with the estimate which in fact was included.I was so upset. So I told them I have to report them to the BBB and the dentist tried to calmed me down by offering me a power toothbrush.
I waited for almost 5 months to have my partial teeth done. Of course that was a long wait. And every time i had appointment in between waiting for my partial teeth the billing clerk at the Rose Dental Office charge me for visit. I had to asked them several times when my partial denture get done and I got a reply next 2 weeks or next month. So it goes on and on and some lies and promises,such as the dentist is not here to fit your denture, we sent it back to lab for some thing. I finally I got my partial dentures. I was shocked when I saw my partial dentures , it was the horrible, cheap kind of material I thought it was. I was not happy at all and I complained about the materials they used for my dentures. The staff told me it was the best kind which I personally don't think so. I called them back many times to have my denture adjusted because my gums are swelling because of this dentures. My husband had a lot better partial denture and paid a lot cheaper than what I paid for.This is a terrible dental office I've ever been to. Recently I got invoice from Rose Dental Office and I don't know what the invoice for I called them and they told me for the visit. Honestly I will never ever go back or recommend my family and friends to this office. It was the worst experience of my life.
