Well I brought a car from Reliant Financial in Jan 2011, am paying on time each month. In the month of April I made a triple payment so I can be ahead just in case if anything happen. Well the laid off begin and I was laid off but I continue to pay on time. Then I received a letter saying that Reliant Financial has changed their name to GOLD ACCEPTANCE Automotive Financial Services and yet they still continue to keep the uneducated, unprofessional employee's there. Well this past Saturday I was behind and they shut my car off. Well they had an GPS to my car, so if I didn't make a payment on time they would shut off my car where I can't start up the car unless I made a payment to them. I called and spoke to Juan who is handling my account and I ask him why my car is shut down? He replied that there was no communication from me regarding the late payment. I told him I just call Friday and spoke to a guy name Cesar. Juan told me that I would have to call him every 3 days each week. I told him that's crazy my payments should be ahead because I made double payments. Am going make an formal complaint with the state and IF ANYONE SEE GOLD ACCEPTANCE DON'T USE THEM THEY ARE ACTUALLY RELIANT FINANCIAL. DON'T USE THEM!!!!! MY DOUBLE PAYMENT WAS NOT APPLIED TO MY ACCOUNT, SO I HAVE TO SEE IF I CAN START A CIVIL SUIT. PLEASE DON'T USE THIS COMPANY.
