To be fair, I will let everyone here know my full experience, there are pluses and minuses.
The Minus: I was first contacted by a local splash employee who promised me the world. He charged me $200 to start and told me that everything would be setup within a few days. I was excited and patient, I knew that they probably could not deliver on their promise to get me to "be number one on Google Local Search", but I figured even if they get me to somewhere close to that, it would be worth it. Bottom line is that the first person I spoke to from this company did not do anything for me, no one even called to setup my account! I kept calling the person, he then told me that he does not work there anymore. Frank Rain is his name.
I called a few weeks later to complain, their 800 number does not actually work and it is impossible to get to anyone, the system kept telling me that I was number one on the line, then number two, basically, I would never get through if I would have waited.
I found a different 949 number with them and that is how I got to Melissa Hiemenz. She is wonderful and got my company listing much higher than I was expecting, for a little while I actually was number one on Google Local Search, but then I was not even on the first page.
I tried to use my second profile that I am allowed with them. The person who called me to take my information was very sweet. However, the information that she took down was incorrect and misspelled. I expect a certain level of professionalism when dealing with a professional company, but I guess that is too much to ask for. My profile was not made, it took me about a month just to get it made.
Basically, all I have to say is this, everyone, just about in this company lies, does not behave in a professional manner and is worthless as far as helping you.
The Plus: Melissa Hiemenz, she is very nice and sweet and will do work for you, but unfortunately, I think word is getting out about her and she is now probably slammed with people who want to deal with her directly because she is the only positive about this company.
If anyone from Local Splash reads this, please be advised that I am giving you a whole extra star than you deserve because of Melissa Hiemenz, otherwise you would get a one star rating only.
P.S. I even wrote a letter to Brian Hall, who is her boss about her amazing performance!!! Thumbs Up Melissa, Thumbs Down Local Splash!
