My beautiful wife and I have been experiencing the same problems with Premiere Productions Inc. that so many other brides and couples have highlighted. We had to engage the help of an attorney to terminate the contractual agreement with Premiere Productions Inc. We paid the Premiere Productions
Inc. a lot of money for vendor deposits and payments. We assumed the company had paid each of our vendors in full and on time. However, we discovered that nothing has been paid to the photographer, florist, band, caterer, location, etc...
Maria Cook is the owner of Premiere Productions and she dismissed our requests for records of what had been paid to the vendors and when. Since we paid and hired her over a year ago, we have been experiencing an unacceptable lack of professionalism throughout the last 12 months. We gave Maria the benefit of the doubt that it was high wedding season and that everything would turnaround, but it never did.
There have been a variety of issues that have concerned us, but none bigger than the fact Maria had been sitting on our money for the last year and has been unable to provide our deposits and payments to the vendors immediately upon their request. For example, we just discovered that the florist, caterer, location, and photographer all requested their deposits and payments over 3 months ago. Unbelievable! She kept trying to hold us off with a garden variety of lies and excuses.
One of the wedding planners that we worked with at Premiere Productions Inc. named Tara Ward was not very responsive. We had to send her several reminders in order to get anything done. She never picked up the phone when we would call her and rarely responded to our email messages we left for her. Tara would also miss a lot of the small and critical details that we make explicitly clear to her. It made us wonder and question where she's had any experience planning a wedding before.
Maria told us that the complaints and negative reviews on the Internet were false and probably from an ex-employee. However, I seriously doubt that especially since we've experienced the exact same problems with Premiere Productions Inc. and Maria Cook.
We hired Maria and her company Premiere Productions Inc. to provide a service. We are quite reasonable and do not have unrealistic expectations. However, our biggest disappointment and concern was that the vendors were not secured and paid in a timely manner.
We expected details of our wedding to be handled with care, but Maria Cook and her company Premiere Productions Inc. were incompetent and showed us that they cannot be trusted.
