Power Pro Plumbing (License # 766254): Unfortunately, we relied on Yellow Pages reviews to discover that Power Pro Plumbing did not live up to the hype of the reviews or name. Be cautious, if you have a water emergency or water damage that needs immediate attention. 28 hours after our initial call, our issue was resolved.
Power Pro Plumbing has a capacity issue causing long delays and poor customer experience. In addition, they demonstrated a pattern of focusing on additional scope of work before the initial work was resolved. It was hard not to get the sense that we were being “played” with our final costs 4x’s the initial quote and additional work recommended 15x’s the original price.
The technicians were professional, polite but more focused on booking the next job. The main office’s lack of accountability and poor customer service was disappointing. We had three technicians come out with each recommending more work than the last.
Our main line backed up, water overflowing from our toilet and bath tub into our bedroom. Power Pro Plumbing quoted us a wait time of 1 hour 30 minutes. It was 5 hours and 30 minutes before a technician came. The technician was professional and helpful but was unable to resolve the issue because it was late in the day. Keep in mind if we had not waited so long our issue may have been resolved. My family was left with without water access and few options for another plumber to come out.
Feeling up against the wall with few options we scheduled the additional work assessed (4x’s the original call price) to resolve the issue. The technician showed up the next day within the three hour time period quoted by the company operator to tell us in person that it would be another 4 hours before a third technician would come out to conduct the work. They focused more time quoting additional work (15x’s the original price) before they completed the work we waited 28 hours to be conducted.
Again, if you have a water emergency this is NOT the company for you. They are overpriced and make you wait long periods of time with no results and have zero accountability. This is the last time we rely on the Yellow Pages and Power Pros Plumbing. It’s my hope that this review will help someone else avoid the negative experience my family has gone through.
