Review 10/15/2009

Parsa Law group has stolen my money. In september 2009, I retained the Parsa Law Group and agrred to the terms of $5250.00 for a loan Modification for two of my properties and three loans. I paid with credit card for 2300.00 and agve them cash of 700.00. I came back the next day and gave them another credit card to charge the balance of the 2400.00. I waited 11 days to here from them on my personal information that I submitted. and to setup an appoitment with an attorney to review my case. Up until this point I had not even received a phone call or any discussion pertaining to my case. I called my Sales represnetative and he said that there was some type of problem and that he would get back to me that day. 2 hours later the Sales rep called and said that his company unilaterally changed the terms of their company payment terms. And that they only accepted cash or Check, and no longer accepted Credit cards. I told them that I did not have cash for the balance and since they unilaterally changed payments terms for my case that I was cancelling immediatly and requested a full refund. I later recieved a bogus letter form their accounting dept. that my money had been fully expensed, for marketing fees, and that If I did not pay the 2402.00 balance that they would terminate srevices. Two main points: They never even started any work at all, so you can not expense work that were not authorized to begin with in the agreement. 2nd of all, this Law firm has been suspendended from practice of Law in the state of california. So bottom line they have $3000.00 of my money, and I have requested three times and have still not received a refund for my money. I will file a complaint with California State Bar and proceed to Small claims court for summary jugement.
