I have been dealing with law firms for the past 10 years, due to a business venture with partners gone wrong. This is by far my worst experience dealing with Parman Law Group. I started the modification process in October 2009 and it is now March 2010 and nothing has been resolved. Once Parman Law Group received my payment in full for the modification, it then became impossible to talk to a real person. I became very frustrated when I then began receiving notices from my lender for missing documents which I had given to Parman Law Group, some of them several times. I am now calling my lender directly and working with them one on one. They have since told me that there is no "negotiating" in the loan modification process. Once the paperwork is filled out and your "Request for Transcript" form returned by the IRS, the lender will offer a Trial Period Plan for a modification. The $3,185.00 I paid to Parman Law Group was for nothing on their part, but forwarding paperwork to my lender, much of which was done at the last possible minute and after several calls and emails by myself. Parman Law Group grossly misrepresents itself in helping people in a very difficult situation and should no longer be conducting business as far as I am concerned. I warn anyone to not do business with this company as they are nice and sweet until they receive your money and then disappear from contact after that. It's a shame there are those who take advantage of so many of us in a very difficult situation during these tough economic times.
