Although they came highly recommended by neighbors, I did not have a satisfactory experience with Paint Force. I wanted them to stain the cedar shingles that are on the outside of my house and I had a very good idea of what color and intensity I was looking for. They sent someone out to do the estimate but it took several weeks and a series of phone calls before I could actually get a price from the person who did the estimate. In the end, he talked me into using a stain that was considerably lighter than what I had specified and after the work was performed I was not at all happy with the results. It looked like nothing had been done at all. I should have stuck with my original intentions and not let myself be swayed by someone I thought was an expert. When he came by to pick up the check, I told him that I wasn't at all happy and he didn't seem interested in anything but picking up the check. I'm now having someone stain my decks, but I won't be using Paint Force.
