I do not recommend Pacific Island Logistics for anyone looking for a reliable moving company. I booked with them cause of the low rate, and then when plans changed and I cancelled the move and transport of my car, trying to get a hold of someone to get my refund of my deposit back was impossible. Tom, the VP was never in the office. The receptionist told me to call back and I would and he still wouldn't be in. She'd say he'd call me, he never would. By the time I finally did get a hold of him, after two weeks of calling at least 5 times in a day, he was rude to me, threatened to hang up on me. And didn't let me get a word in. He kept raising his voice and refused to answer any of my questions. He then informed me, I'd be getting $782 dollars less than what the company owed me, for "fees". The only cancellation fee I could find was $250 dollars, so I couldn't figure out why they were charging me another $532 dollars on top of that. I still have yet to receive a refund from them, even though I was told it would be in the bank by "this day" then "that day". Besides the obvious annoyance of never being able to get in touch with them, the way I was treated over the phone was unprofessional. They lost paper work, and now they are blaming me saying this was my fault, and also claiming that I'm lying about the amounts I paid for a deposit. I have the bank records and emails to prove it, and still I'm being told that it will take over a week for Tom to look through my paper work and figure it out. Don't use this company if you think there is even a slight possibility of changed plans.. cause you're basically throwing away your money. And as far as the reviews, I've read others have written, well... I wish I had taken the time to do a little more research on them before booking. Save your money...
