PC Planet does not have their act together. First of all, like others have said, their website is not updated. The product I wanted was listed as available, so I ordered it. Got my order confirmation and emailed them right away for tracking information because of some of the reviews I read. The reply: "Oh, we are having a shortage in that product, it should be available in 10 days". Yeah, right. Then I checked my credit card statement and found they had already charged it, even before it was shipped! That's lame. Don't charge me for your out of stock item.
I was able to find my item on ebay, so after winning that auction I emailed PC Planet to cancel the order. They replied, "Are you sure? Your item is going to be shipped out tomorrow." Right....it is coincidentally going to be shipped out the day after I email you to cancel it? Nice try.
Then, to top it all off, I didn't see the refund on my credit card. A week after I cancelled the order, I had to email them AGAIN telling them to refund my money that they never should've charged in the first place since it was out of stock.
To summarize, place an order with this company if you like delays, non-action until you hound them, and if you like being finance charges accrued on your credit card for items you never received. The only reason they're getting two stars instead of one is because they actually refunded my credit card and I didn't have to take them to the BBB.
