SKETCHY place. We got married there in Sept 2012, and they ruined our wedding day.
Key points:
*Kids in our party were practically not fed due to a "miscommunication", that was never addressed to us then and there so we can ensure things were rectified immediately
*Recommended babysitters to us, DRANK (liquor) on the job
*They locked ALL our guests kids initially in the entertainment room, which was NOT what was agreed upon, causing some guests to leave
*Tried to have us uninvite our 33 kids count the week going into the wedding, saying kids by pool is unsafe. This should have been communicated then BEFORE we signed contracts and made final payments (which btw is cash only)
*Guest Sign In table not placed properly causing a huge backup (30-45 mins, pics to prove it)
*Catering service they work with (Mark's Catering) was horrifying. Had to exchange over 30-40 emails to rely practically the same info. Some guests didn't get their (cold) entrees til past 9pm.
*Paid for 230 guest Candy Bar....it ran out in 15-30 minutes before reception even started. Never refilled.
*DJ service (Waveform LLC) was great though, Justin was a really easy person to work with and played almost everything on my list
*Cake vendor (Pacific Bakery) was also really good
*Atrina, the day of coordinator was sweet and fine to work with
*Joe, the sales person, was also fine to work with and helped us solve the last minute uninviting of the kids situation (we agreed on getting an addtl babysitter, our cost, and their cost was supposedly another security)
*Anybody else (Mona) was a JOKE to work with
*When our guest had a photobooth mishap w/ the vendor, rather than protecting us, Mona threw us under the bus and told us to "just pay the $1k deductible and get this over with". Had later learned through our insurance company, that most vendors have their own insurance for these very situations, and they were confused why the vendor was trying to go after us...obviously incorrectly advised.
*Mansion was beautiful however, you will get great pics out of the location (but comes w/ a high price. Your sanity, as well as your losing face to guests after an unorganized wedding night). Rather than sending out Thank Yous, we had to send out "Sorry's".
