I found Nuvair on the Internet in 2007 and purchased their Pro O2 oxygen analyzer. I have used many oxygen analyzers over the years and the most common problem with them is that they drift during calibration or after calibration. People analyzing breathing gas become skeptical when the oxygen percentage starts drifting up or down during analysis. My most common question has always been "When did you last calibrate the analyzer?" With the Nuvair Pro I found it extremely easy to use and the flow restrictor properly metered incoming gas pressure, unlike some analyzers where dialing up the pressure also drives up the FO2. The Nuvair Pro is also very stable, and I can analyze gas for a class of 15-20 without recalibrating. Best of all I was so impressed that I purchased another Nuvair Pro in 2008 and, side by side the analyzers are in complete agreement to the nearest 0.1 %.
