NOD Consultants- This company is basically a network of scam artists. In the begininng while they are collecting fees, they are communicative, encouraging, full of stories about how they have reduced mortgages and saved clients tons of money. Then, after all of their fees have been collected, the communication ceases, email addresses stop working and no one answers phone calls. The bottom line, I almost lost my home because of them. I am still finalizing a new agreement, that HOPEFULLY my mortgage company will accept. Without my knowledge, my home went into foreclosure and was set to be sold on the courthouse steps! I could not get anyone from NOD to talk to me. All along they were telling me NOT to talk to the mortgage co. and as it turns out, the mortgage co would have worked with me directly, for FREE. So NOD cost me nealy $4000 in processing fees and another $8,000 + to get my home out of foreclosure. And the fight is not over yet. Now, I have to go after them to get back the money that I paid them. But, if I have to sue them, I will. Anyone seeking a mortgage mod, talk to your lender, first. But steer clear of this company. They are dishonest scammers!!!!
