After a horrible experience with Tri State Funding, and its founder Raul Socia, I was extremely hesitant to trust another soul. Let me tell you what they pulled so you can understand what taken for a ride really is....
First of all, you can never reach "the founder" you got a voice mail and it would be a surprise if he decided to call you back.
Second, there was no communication with him or staff on our status. We would just get repetitive phone calls about sending updated paperwork that we would send about 3-4 times! ( I am sure he just did not submit our paperwork at the appropriate time)
And two years later nothing happened, in fact Raul Socia still thinks we are in the process with him!
NOW ABOUT MORTGAGE RESTRUCTURING SOLUTIONS, INC.....My husband found them on the Internet. Hmm mm already apprehensive. Did some research, and even used trustlink. Even more worries.
My husband spoke with Harvey Garte, the Chief Executive. There was no sales pitch or huge big dream promises. He explained what his company does and what procedures we needed to follow.
THIS IS THE IMPORTANT PART. Harvey Garte was easily accessible, a phone call to answer any questions we may have had. And believe me my husband called all hours, different days to make sure this was legit.
We had open communication between Mr. Garte and his staff. We were always on top of any paperwork they may need and they in turn told us our status.(good to be accessible to a fax AT ALL TIMES)
The end result...WE GOT THE MODIFICATION. Now all stories may not be the same or the outcomes. But you have to be realistic.
One only YOU know how good your credit really is or you need to have a reality check. Harvey Garte works with what you have, he has no magic wand.
Second, if you put YOUR work in it, it may all pay off. So always keep communication with his staff and take care of your paperwork. Send everything in a timely manner, DON'T WAIT.
Lastly do not give up, give this company a chance to help you. They give great advice and they don't just treat you like another paycheck. I feel like they understood our need for this modification to pull through during these rough times.
