Review 11/10/2011
|
I purchased a new 2011 Eclipse Attitude toy hauler on 1/10/2011 and although I had a decent sales experience the Service Dept. staff was an absolute JOKE. The sales and finance department were quick to take my $30,000 for my new trailer but after the purchase is made no one seems to care as they are on to the next victim.
I recently (10/24/2011) made an appointment to bring my trailer in for warranty work with a drop off date of 11/07/2011. When I went to drop the trailer off on the scheduled appointment date I was told they may get a chance to look at it in the next week or two as they are backed up trying to deliver newly purchased RV's and trailers. What is the point of making an appointment you ask, I asked the same thing. I was told by the extremely rude service writer that the RV industry does not work like an other repair industry and if I don't like the lead time tough and to take my business somewhere else.
Luckily I purchased an Attitude toy hauler that is manufactured by Eclipse RV in Riverside, CA. I spoke with their warranty staff (extremely helpful by the way) and was told to bring the trailer to them and they would get all needed warranty repairs completed right away.
I would like the staff at McMahon's RV to pull their heads out of the clouds and understand that if they continue to treat customers poorly they will no longer be in business. They are not the only company in the RV industry to purchase from in Southern California. They have lost my business and I will go out of my way to tell anyone and everyone to shop for their next RV elsewhere so they do not have to go through what I have.
