Have 3 of their GPS?
Latest is the 7" Roadmate 1700. Works great. However, did not come with AC/Dc adapter. I had an extra one from my Maestro4000. Originally, the first had a bad two prong adapter. Their CS sent a new adapter but without the two prong adapter as needed. Called CS, and they sent another without the two prong adapter to plug into the wall outlet. Called CS and they said the two prong not available? I told them the adapter was no good without the ability to plug into the wall outlet--they could care less. On 5-310 I called again in an attempt to get the two prong clip piece. Their CS dude in the Philippines said to try to get one at Radio Shack or Best Buy??? Absolute idiots. However, on 5-6-10 I decided to try again. I spoke with a CS gal by the name of Viola in Philippines and told her I was demanding to speak with someone in the USA. She said they had a Customer Resolution Dept in Nevada? What do you know---she connected me in about 30 seconds. Spoke with a gal in Nevada(las vegas!!) and she said the little two prong clip available and she is sending me one for free!!!!! Took 3 years to finally get help. When will companies stop all the CS outsourcing outside the USA?!
