I too was scammed by this company. There sales pitch was so believable. My credit card payment of $1798 was made to Universal Timeshare, Santo Domingo Duty-Free Store. My complaints are the same as read in most of your reviews. They had a buyer in the office ready to buy. I spoke with a David Spencer (he was my initial contact), Richard Taylor, and the last call was from Kenney Petrus. Mr. Petrus was the one who wanted me to wire one-half of the closing cost ($1500) without any proof of purchase or legal documents. It was then that red flags started going up. As stated on their web site, the seller would not have to pay any closing costs or additional fees. There have never been answers to phone calls, or emails. I took the advice of one of the reviews and filed a complaint with the FBI. And, I will also contact my credit card company. If all of us file complaints perhaps we can put them out of business.
