moving nightmare

horrible experience with this company. when I first spoke to "Ben" on the phone he estimated my move at $1,148. Then calls me 3 days before the move that they "accidently overbooked" the moved. stating that they will have to either cancel the move or charge
$1400 for the move. Annoyed and so close to the moving date I agreed. should have know that this was part of their con job. the day before the move, I get a call from their dispatch that they will be there for the pick up between 9am-11am. The truck didn't
show up until 2:30pm. no apologizes, nothing from the drivers. after yelling at them for being 3 1/2 hours late for the pick up they agreed to deducted fees to make up for being late. Which in the end they didn't deduct. When all was said and done they charged
me $1,715. I tried contacting "ben" about this addition charges and he still hasn't returned my calls. with no other option, I ended up pay $1,715 instead of the $1,400 I was originally promised. and this is just a studio apartment I was moving. I then had
to contact their "customer service" center, because the driver didn't give me all the pages I had signed for the move. The woman on the phone didn't really care that they were late and stated " I can get you those missing pages but not today. Anyways you'll
get another copy of the papers on delivery". meaning there could be more charges on the way I don't know about. and after being promised 7 days for delivery, I was told about 14 days. that's 14 days I'm going to be in an empty apartment. I will let you know
how the delivery goes and the additional charges. Please look elsewhere for movers. Low cost movers are just the brokers who are trying to get your money anyway possible. and you will have no way of knowing who is actually moving you. the movers that I was
stuck with are.. Accurate Moving Inc. DBA Platinum van lines save your money and please look elsewhere. don't go through what I had to.
