Awful Company; Run Away-They have been reported to Consumer Product Safety Commission

I purchased the Leak Defense system on the recommendation of my insurance company. I have subsequently asked them not to recommend the company. I had multiple conversations with the Leak Defense Salesman and he assured me that that was a local plumbing company that had installed >6 systems without and issue. I purchased the system and the plumber first could not get in touch with technical support and the experienced company installed a valve in the wrong location. Had to be re-installed. Then Leak Defense said an electrician had to install the interface with the panel that shuts off the well motor when the water is shut off. Despite giving Jonathan, their head of service the phone number of my electrician, he never called him to explain how to do the installation(of course this was par for Jonathan who never called me back despite setting a date/time). Then following the directions and calling technical support twice, the device was installed by the electrician. Within 5 minutes, Leak Defense overrode the controller for the well pump and the system would have exploded had a relief valve not worked. Called the company back, and their response was that this was a coincidence. They are denying any responsibility and won't send someone to inspect their system and the installation. Awful.
