I picked LA Moving to move my 3 bedroom townhome from Calabasas to a 2 bedroom apartment in Beverly Hills, and I have to say that I was so thrilled with their services. They are all very polite, not to mention big and strong. I was actually nervous that I would get movers who did would not be able to do their job. I’ve gone through that before. Thankfully, the actual movers were… well, actually movers! They had a bunch of equipment with wheels that they were using and it looked like they were handling everything with ease. Most moving companies that advertise fulltime professional movers don’t always fulfill that, unfortunately, and I was glad when LA Moving delivered what they promised. The whole move took only about 6 and a half hours.
I had a few pieces of original art that I was very worried about. Luckily, I was able to talk to the office ahead of time and arranged for full packing and crating services which hardly cost me anything over the hourly rate. Honestly, most of the supplies they provided me with were free. I particularly needed wardrobe boxes and tape and wasn’t charged anything extra. LA moving didn’t try to tack on any fees for my flights of stairs or the fact that there was a very long walk between my apartment and the truck. Other companies have. There was nothing broken at the end of the move, and I gave the movers a decent tip I felt they deserved. It was a very decent experience and I will be coming back to LA Moving in the future.
