UPDATED...I hired these guys to move my belongings from California to Maryland. The quote clearly stated I wanted my stuff picked up on 9/24 and delivered 10/9. I got a call from a driver on a Saturday saying that he HAD to pick up my stuff Monday morning 9/21. 3 days early. I frantically finished packing over the weekend - till 1am on Monday morning. After they picked up everything they told me it was going on the large semi truck right away. Well, here I am just a few days before the delivery is due and my account manager, Josh won't return my calls. I somehow found out that my stuff hasn't even made it on a truck yet. Probably not until the 9th. That was my original delivery date! Who knows when I'll get my stuff. Don't use these guys if you want your stuff on the promised date. Once they have your business they won't talk to you.
UPDATE: 10/18/2009. Finally got my stuff. But it was a nightmare. The driver shows up and tells me I have to pay cash or postal money order only. I tell him the company promised I could pay by American Express. I called them to verify a couple times before my move. Now it's Sunday and the banks are closed. I'm scrambling to come up with the required cash. And to add to it the driver says if they have to leave and come back the next day they are going to charge me an additional $600 for storage. The driver was the biggest a-hole I ever met. After I get him the cash and they unload I notice Some of my things are missing but had no tags so I can't prove it. Also the walls are now all marked up, the carpet is stained, light bulbs broken, boxes are crushed. I have pictures to prove all this. Then the topper is that they refused to bring my elliptical machine up the stairs. Now it's stuck in the garage and I'll have to pay someone else to bring it up. Do yourself a favor - DON'T USE THESE GUYS!!!!
