I had an outstanding tax debt of more than $150K from the state of New York which was due to the business my ex-husband owned. I assumed it would all be taken care of since we were no longer together and I moved to Florida. However, this tax debt (from 1998) came back to haunt me when the state obtained a judgment against me. They tried to seize my assets and also garnished a couple of my paychecks. I heard K&K Tax Group on the radio and met them in their office. After 2 meetings, their attorney was able to get my information from the State of New York and explained me what my options were. Anyways, I did sign up with them and they did deliver what they promised. It has been 4 months since I signed up and they filed some innocent spouse and OIC petitions with the state. I am glad that I am no longer responsible for the debt. Would highly recommend them.
