As one of the many, many homeowners facing the threat of losing my home, I looked into a number of outfits out there offering this type of service. My situation was a bit more precarious, because I had received a notice of default and was facing a foreclosure sale. I did not pay $995, but I did pay $3,000 because of the stage of foreclosure I was in and they said my case was "critical." Anyway, they did what they said they would do and I not only got my insane mortgage modified and my home saved, but I found an organization that I could in good conscience, tell others about. I did not deal with Mr. Ridick, but the team I did work with were very professional throughout the entire experience, which lasted about seven months, but they were very knowledgable in all aspects of my situation and they were very nice people. The company was not that big when I got in their program, so maybe there are a few misguided apples in the bunch, but they did help me and a neighbor of mine. Their name is their job...Homesavors.
