7/21/2010. Hired Gun Exterminating sprayed the exterior of my home for ants. A few weeks later we found ants inside the home. I scheduled them for a respray on a Monday morning. At about 8:15 they called to reschedule, really not a problem except I could not be there again, but my daughter was available. On Thursday they came and resprayed the interior and exterior, no more ants inside. Late that day after arriving home, I noted that about 15 - 20% of my backyard grass was looking very brown but it did not appear to be from lack of water as the pattern did not match sprinklers and there was a green spot in the middle area. I did contact this firm and was told their chemicals could not cause this problem and they did not spray this area. I have investigated the possibility that bug chemicals can cause grass to die and one tell tale sign is the green spot where the tech was standing. Of course I cannot prove they caused the grass to die however it is quite the coincidence. I cannot recommend this firm based upon my experience.
