'Moving' experience with Green Mountain
|
Dear Ms. Cohen:
I wanted to let you know how impressed I was with how your employees, Felipe and Carlos(?), conducted themselves while performing a move for my friends and former neighbors last week. As you probably recall, the family requested that the remaining appliances be removed from the house on Varsity Street together with the contents of the detached garage and packed for shipment and delivery to Oceanside.
I was able to help that day so I opened the house and garage when your movers arrived. Being in such close proximity to them as they worked, I was able to closely observe their movements during the time they were here.
I was pleasantly surprised by the professionalism and care that both men exhibited throughout the entire event. At one point the decision of how to move the largest appliance (the refrigerator) became the primary focus. It was obvious to me that the completion of the move was grossly impeded by the large, heavy refrigerator. But I needn't have worried; they determined the best way to move the refrigerator quickly and carefully.
With only one inch clearance between the door and refrigerator on either side, I was amazed at how deftly that huge piece of steel was maneuvered through the front door of the house while sustaining no damage or marks of any kind by the time it reached the outside. Amazing!
Both gentlemen maintained a professional can-do attitude, and refused to allow something as 'insignificant' as a heavy refrigerator from preventing them from reaching their goal. After everything had been packed and secured in the truck, I contacted my former neighbor and told her what an awesome job your employees did. She was relieved and very happy.
Felipe in particular was the driving force of the team and was instrumental in figuring out the best way to move the appliances, especially the refrigerator. He is knowledgeable, very bright, intelligent and people oriented. When dealing with the general public in such close proximity, those qualities are essential and he didn't disappoint. His bright smile and professional attitude, his cool and calm demeanor, together with his positive outlook made the job look effortless.
From what I observed, personally, Felipe is definitely management material and I hope that his fine qualities and good work ethic are recognized.
He's an outstanding organizer and a credit to your company. Keeping in mind that you never get a second chance to make a first impression, I would have no qualms in endorsing Green Mountain Moving to anyone who was searching for a competent, professional, careful team of movers. With people like Felipe in your company, its positive reputation can only grow by leaps and bounds. If I could have given you 10 stars, I would have. But consider it done in spirit.
Please feel free to contact me at the email address listed, or at my home number should you have any questions.
Sincerely,
Anne Hosier
