Started receiving calls from Global Business Systems in October. After several very aggressive sales calls I agreed to try one of their monochrome (for black and white printer) toner cartridges. We received the cartridge and paid their invoice for one cartridge. Yesterday I received another call from them stating they would be sending the other 3 cartridges of the "package" I agreed to. I stated I had no recollection of agreeing to purchase 4 cartridges, and would not have done so since our company uses only Genuine HP toner cartridges. I am supposed to receive a follow up call today and will inform whoever calls that we will refuse delivery of anything from them and will do no further business with them. If they insist that I am obligated in some manner then I will be reporting them to my state's Attorney General office.
I should have been suspicious with their first calls when they redirected the conversation each time I asked them to send an email. Also, I have questions about the timing of when they started calling. We had recently purchased an HP color LaserJet and had recently gone through lengthy conversations with the local office of a large company concerning switching to them for our printing supplies, but the conversations ended because they could not beat the prices of our current vendor. My first call from Global Business Systems came about three weeks after that.
