Very Poor and Deceiving Business Practice

Our company (JEM Engineering) received an unexpected shipment from Global Business Systems about 2 weeks prior from the posting date of this review. We never placed a PO with this company, therefore I decided to call them to figure out what was going on and return the merchandise as I thought they had made a mistake. Once on the phone with them (after several attempts trying to get them to speak to me), I was asked on the phone to please keep the "8 brother TN-550" as a courtesy gesture and way to repair broken business relations with us from past businesses. I inmediately refused the offer and reiterated that I wanted to return the shipment. They insisted that we should keep the merchanside and that they had also sent/mailed us $200 gift card, which we never received. After several minutes back and forth I stated that if they wanted us to keep the shipment as a gift that they must send a revised packing slip clearly stating that what we had rceived was a gift. Thye agreed to do so within 48 hours. A week after being with them on the phone, we had not yet received the revised written request, therefore, I decided to call them again. Once on the phone they inisted that I had to pay for the merchandise because I used it and kept it. Wrong statement: not only they used the wrong wording but had false assumptions and tried to convince us that we had lied. I inmediately decided to go back to my original plan "send the shipment back to them". We had not used the product, we never placed a PO and we did not want to do business with this company anyway. When I asked for authorization to ship back, they refused to give it to me nor they wanted to give me a return address. This company is a scam. We are not paying for a shipment that was never processed through our purchasing channels. Please save yourself and your company some aggrevation and do not do business with Global Business Systems.
