I would never use this company again. I have not gotten the pictures yet, but from looking at the proofs, I think that they will be good. That is not the issue. The issue is that there were hidden costs and I do not feel that the employees were honest with me.
Before I booked the appointment, I asked a number of questions related to cost. I was told that the package I wanted was $195.00. That was for the adult package with a touch-up. I also had photos taken of my daughter and was told that the child's package was $99.00. At the time of the shoot I asked if the "fairy" photos were extra. I was told that they were $40.00 extra.
After the shoot was over, when I selected the photos, I was given a total. I was not given any breakdown. The "salesman" told me that the CD was "part of my package". I asked about it a couple of times and he never told me a price. He just repeated that it came with the package. To me, that means there is no additional charge.
Since I had been there for almost five hours with a small child, I just didn't have the energy to go over the costs with a fine-tooth comb. One must really go there equipped with a calculator and a pencil. In hindsight, I realize this was foolish.
The next day, I reviewed the paperwork and discovered there was no breakdown of prices, just one total. I called to question it and the manager was rude. I had someone fax a price breakdown to me. That is when I found out that the CD "comes with the package for an additional $175.00 and that the fairy photo was and additional $75.00, not $40.00. Also, the package I chose had jumped from $195.00 to $210.00.
The photographer and hair and make-up people were nice, but guy who did the sales and the manager are not honest. I feel I was deliberately mislead and manipulated. They may have gotten an extra couple of hundred out of me, but they will never get repeat business that way.
