It's been almost a year since our business with Five Star Pools and the shotty work they did is beginning to show. Their recommendation for coating (3M) is wearing away and staining, our pump has already started to leak, the chip they caused (and "fixed") in a decorative tile I asked them to install on our pool shelf has chipped further and I can't get out the stubborn stain. Avoid these guys - RUN FOR THE HILLS. As the previous post noted, we too had communication issues. And, get this....we paid them in full, however they didn't pay one of their vendors an $800 bill for materials so the vendor came after us coming thisclose to putting a lein on our new house..it took 3 months of listening to Five Star tell us that the 'Check was in the mail" to their vendor. Wow...it's been a year and I am still angry at these guys. I know...let it go.....let it go....but if I see them at a Home Improvement Show again, I will steer people away.
