First American Home Buyers Protection Warranty Insurance does not keep it's word.I

I would have to agree with the previous 101 people that First American Home Buyers Warranty Insurance collects my payments faithfully every month, but now that our air conditioner developed a Freon leak and the A-coil needs to be replaced, they want to
allow a sheister repairman (that we paid $69.00 for a bogus diagnosis) work on our home's air conditioner, AND charge us $525.00 on top of whatever he is collecting from them, which must not be much. What on earth am I paying for after all? I have a Premier
Plan with an air conditioner rider. However the policy says it will not pay for modifications. Well that particular repairman wrote up most of the repair and replacement as "modifications", instead of just installation costs, so he wants to pay all that money!!!
On top of the previous home service charge, we paid another company $69.00 to come out to our home in the country and give us an independent diagnosis and estimate for repairing our air conditioner's problem. We told him nothing about the previous one. NO
WHERE on his estimate does he even mention the word "modification". I asked him specifically about any modifications, to which he said, "No, this is all part of the repair, replacement and installation. Now I have to say, First American said that if we wanted
to purchase a portable air conditioner, they would reimburse us up to $150.00. I found one for $120.00 at Home Depot, but guess what? After two weeks, we STILL have NOT been reimbursed for it. And they still haven't decided what to do about getting our air
conditioner repaired. I told them I would not have the first repairman back to our home, but I would be happy to accept any certified Lennox repairman (one is just 7 miles from our home) come out and fix it. It went to a "Review Board" last week, still no
word. After this issue is completed, I'm finding another company. If you're smart, you won't even think about using First American Home Buyers for your home warranty insurance.
