This business is unauthentic!
|
Rebecca Linquist is a scam artist, my experience with Englishbythehour was terrible. I found that they were conducting business unethically. The owner/operator Rebecca Linquist tries to scam people and make them fall into her trap. When I started to talk to her, she pretended to be nice and patient, claiming to provide me with her undivided attention, commitment and confidentiality in all aspects of our sessions together. Then, after she received my $2,000, she transformed into another person. She didn't do what she promised. Also, she didn't issue me an invoice even though I asked for one. After she received my money, I thought that I would try the first class. During the class, she was texting people on her phone. The worst part came when I asked her to send me a copy of the video of my class. She didn't until three days later and, when I received it, I was shocked to see the video of another woman she coached and she sent my video to another student. She also sent me the information of another student who she coached, for advertisement purposes. She not only violated my right to privacy, but also other students. Given the fact that she did everything wrong, I decided to discontinue the course and asked for a refund. Thereafter, she became nasty and went "radio silent." I asked her to delete my videos and she refused to do so. I have filed complaints with the Better Business Bureau, California Attorney General and Office of the District Attorney and requested the authorities to take action to prevent this business from harming more people. Going forward, I will continue to take legal action to prevent Rebecca Linquist from scamming additional people. I will also file in small claims court. I strongly believe in justice. Everyone, please tell your family and friends about this scammer Rebecca Linquist, in order to prevent more people from getting harmed by her. Anyone who was harmed by her, please join me in bringing Rebecca Linquist to justice.
