Review 9/4/2011
|
A salesman called me, evidently since I'd been looking on the internet for a water treatment system. Then he came to my home carrying a piece of equipment and led me to believe he was with "Eden Pure" whom I had past positive dealings with. He told me it was Eden Pure's latest equipment. Later I found out that was not true, that Eden Effects was a completely different company. When he came to my home July 11, 2011 I signed a contract and wrote a check for $4,700.00. He told me and my contract states I can cancel in 30 days and get my money back. Two days later I began to be concerned about their business practices and I tried to cancel. After calling for 5 days I finally got in touch with someone. They said they'd send me a release form. The form said they'd refund my money in 10 to 14 days. I filled it out and mailed it within 2 days which was July 25th. I have continued to call and each time I have gotten someone which has been 4 to 6 times, I am always told it will be the next weekend. This is September 4th and still no refund! I am thinking, I've been SCAMMED.
I am now in the process of starting legal action against this company. Shame on me, an intelligent but trusting 91 year old former business owner who treated my customers with respect and honesty.
