Initially, the company verbally promised us financing. Once we sent in our agreement and our $3,910.59 initial deposit and our securitization fee of $1, 095.00 we were then told that the underwriters needed more information. We complied and sent both business and personal finance information to Eagle Business Finance.
They kept verbally promising us financing, but did not actually provide us financing. Our owner spoke with Matt Williams who agreed to give us a refund of our deposit, but stated he was going to be away on vacation for fourteen days so we would need to wait. At that time we did conceed to allow EBF to keep our securitization fee. After fourteen days we called and sent emails, but we still don't have any refund. We are now past 21 days. Interestingly enough, we were asked to send our funds via. overnight mail--why can't they do the same?
Lastly, based on our personal experience we believe Eagle Business Finance is a predatory lender who uses bait and switch tactics.
