We used this company because Cindy May, the owner, gave us some great ideas for our patio and we thought the price quoted was fair. We did not like this company, however, because their employees left A LOT of trash around our front and back yards. They smoked and threw cigarette butts all over our yard. They took too long to finish the job. They asked for HALF the money before completion, stating the reason was because we were leaving town for 2 days and they needed to "do some other jobs" -however, at this point, they were already past the original date of completion. Our written contract with them was that they would be paid in full at job completion. Period. There were no partial payments agreed upon. When the concrete company showed up to deliver concrete, Dave May sent them to our door for payment from us. That happened TWICE - and this was after we had given them half the money already. VERY poor professionalism. The finished product is good, but the sealant they used did not make the stamped colored concrete stand out as they claimed. OUr patio is very dull and we will have to have it professionally sealed by someone else soon. Cindy May is great - but Dave is difficult to deal with, and the employees he uses are not professional even a little. If you use them, stick to your guns and don't let Dave change the contract as he goes along. Make sure he sticks to his completion date and don't let him coerce you into making partial payments if your contract states otherwise.
