We needed our entire home to be re-piped including the connection from the city street meter to the house. This took 9 working days and was done with minimum disruption. Water was cut off for two periods (a 3-hour and an 8-hour period).
Cupertino Plumbing did an outstanding job, and here is why:
1. They told us what they were going to do and how long it would take, and they did it,
2. They used high-quality materials (thick-walled copper pipes and premium valves),
3. Their people were highly competent, worked fast and showed professional pride in their work,
4. They protected the work areas and cleaned up after themselves each day including removal of all construction debris,
5. They did a fine job of closing up the necessary drywall holes and re-finishing the closed areas ready for re-painting,
6. They handled city permits and inspections and passed easily.
Advice: Make sure you think of everything you want done before you sign the contract. I ended up insulating the new hot-water pipes myself.
