WARNING! Don't use these people I wish I read the reviews of this scam business

I needed a larger piece of equipment for my business and I knew it would be another year I'd have to wait to purchase it. I received a call from a company called Cornerstone capital out of the blue. After speaking with them they said I could get a lease deal for the machine I needed. They would call me once a week to see if I found the machine I wanted to buy. This went on for a few weeks until I did find a machine. I checked out the company and all seemed to be legitimate. I overnighted the application and a check for the first and last payment plus $150 for the doc stamps. I sent them almost $1200. I was told I was approved and the dealer would be getting the money wired into their account. I've been friends with this dealer for 15 years. They shipped the machine from Orlando to west palm beach fl. I went to get the machine on a Monday . The dealer said they hadn't received the money yet. (24,000). The dealer called them several times and never got a response. When they did get in touch the dealer told me the money would be wired the next day. Well, it's been weeks now and Cornerstone Capital hasn't returned our calls. I spent this time reading reviews about this company on several different web sites. It appears I've been screwed..I don't like to talk about my family business but my wife of 35 years now has stage 4 breast cancer.Our family and friends have been doing everything to help us including raising money from car washes, bake sales, etc.Everyone couldn't believe that this company took our .1200 dollars. That money could of been used for a couple more rounds of chemotherapy. I know we won't get our money back.I learned how the scam goes now. They get you to overnite the money to make you feel like your trying to beat the clock. Once they have your money, they won't call you. HERES THE SCAM. Somewhere buried deep in the contract that says if you want to cancel the process, fees will be deducted from your deposit. Out of the 1200 I gave them, I would lose just about half. So they get you so mad that you cancel and they made out real nice. AND IT'S LEGAL! If you know the scam and you don't cancel they'll find things in your credit to use against you. In my case I told them to turn me down and refund my money. They said you money won't be refunded but it's kept for future loans. ARE THEY SOMETHING! As god is my witness I just now hung up with them. He told me he just got an email from me and I didn't have to threaten him. I told him I know I'm being scammed and what should we do about it? He said I could write a cancellation letter. DO U BELIEVE IT? I told him no and I ask if I will get this loan or not? He said there were some things on my credit:: HERE WE GO! Bottom line is he said he's still processing the loan and I will still get it. INCREDIBLE! Well let's see where this goes. Before I tell everyone to avoid this co. I'll give them another week. Ps I notice when others leave a bad review for Cornerstone Capital, they always come back with " I don't know what they mean, their refund is in the mail". Be warned people!

THERE WERE SOME MISUNDERSTANDING ON THIS TRANSACTION WITH THE CUSTOMER. HIS REFUND HAS BEEN ISSUED AND AGREED THAT WE WILL REVISIT THE TRANSACTION AT A LATER TIME WHEN THINGS BECOME MORE STABLE. WE HOPE THAT HIS WIFE GETS BETTER AND WISH HIM THE BEST.
